The Air Jordan 1 Flight fuses elements of the Air Jordan 1 with the Air Jordan IV and then adds some new touches to give the shoe some individuality. We showed you an OG Air Jordan 1 colorway of this shoe last week, and now we get a look at six more versions that are scheduled for a Holiday 2009 release. Like many other models from the Jordan Holiday collection, four of these Air Jordan Flight 1’s have 60+ colorways. Of the remaining two, one pair uses a Light Graphite/Black color scheme, with the other adopting the classic Bred palette and a Cement midsole thrown in for good measure. The first colorways will start hitting stores in October, with more dropping in each of the next two months. You can check out the release info and some more pics after the jump.
Today here on Sneaker News has been a banner day for the Air Jordan 1. The OG of OGs has appeared here in every imaginable form, and here is a totally new one. The Air Jordan 1 Flight Low is a hybrid of the first and fourth shoes in the iconic Air Jordan Series. Featuring the sole and tongue of the AJ1 along with the plastic eyelet wings that typify Air Jordan IVs, this is yet another hybrid capitalizing on Jordan Brand’s rich legacy.
Each pair features colours and/or patterns that are notoriously Jordan. The white and cement pair features a speckled sole a la Air Jordan III, the black and green joints have a smattering of elephant print made famous on the IVs and the last pair features the classic Chicago Bulls colours. Scheduled for release on the first days of May and June 2009, you can see the retail prices along with style numbers and colours after the jump. Be sure to check back with Sneaker News on the regular and we’ll update you with new pics and release reminders.
