The Air Jordan 20 (XX) Original (OG) - West (University Blue / White - Black)were released on July 1, 2005, and retailed for $175. Theyare dubbed the “Wests” as they were part of a regional package which released across the states that day, and this particular colorway was only released on the West coast. They feature a blue nubuck upper with white accents, which go really well together. The blue portion of the upper features a complex tapestry of symbols representing MJ�s experiences and stories. Each symbol is a cryptic puzzle that only die-hard Jordan fans can deduce. This design is only seen on the regional colorways, as the other colorways of the Air Jordan 20 (XX) feature the engraved etchings on the midfoot strap only, which by the way, were designed by Nike�s laser expert, Mark Smith. The shoe consists of features such as a phylon midsole supporting twenty I.P.S.(Independent Podular Suspension) �pods� on the outsole, and an internal shank plate in the midfoot area.
